In the Netherlands, over 85,000 children do not have their own bicycle. A bike is important to participate with peers and to cycle to school, sports, or friends.
The ANWB wants to change this with the Childrens Bicycle Plan. They collect bicycles, refurbish them, and give them to children who need one.
Bicycles for Everyone
We support this initiative through the City Deal: Bicycles for Everyone. Together with municipalities and partners, we ensure that cycling is possible for everyone in Gelderland. Because cycling is healthy, sustainable, and gives freedom.
How does the Childrens Bicycle Plan work?
Do you have a good bicycle to spare? Drop it off at an ANWB collection point. Every size is welcome. This way, you help a child get started. More information can be found on the ANWB website.
