No Negative Swimming Advice for the Lakes of Borculo (formerly Hambroekplas)
There is currently no negative swimming advice for the Lakes of Borculo. The swimming water has been deemed safe.
The Lakes of Borculo (formerly known as Hambroekplas) currently contain no harmful substances. The swimming water was tested after the incident at Friesland Campina in Borculo on July 3, 2025.
Published on: July 16, 2025This additional sampling does not give us reason for a negative swimming advice. The municipality of Berkelland and the water board Rijn en IJssel have been informed of these findings.
