Starting Point in Putten: The Broedplaats Comes to Life
The tour began with a festive moment: the signing of the village deal in Putten. Residents, artists, and the municipality work together to create a central meeting place: The Broedplaats. Everything revolves around meeting, creativity, art, and collaboration. With special attention to youth and vulnerable residents. The old police station becomes a place where people meet and no one has to be alone.
Ermelo-West: Stronger Together Through Neighborhood Deal
The next stop was Ermelo-West, one of the first neighborhood and village deals in Gelderland (in 2020). By working together, neighborhood association, church, welfare organization, and municipality created a lively meeting center. Activities like moving and cooking together. This makes the neighborhood active and cozy again. The lessons learned now serve as inspiration for new deals in our province.
Connection and Inspiration for All of Gelderland
After a day full of stories and ideas, the bus returned with its inspired participants to the starting point.
Once on the bus, one of the participants enthusiastically said:
This tour along positive projects I find extremely inspiring. Heartwarming to see the great involvement of residents.

What Enthusiasm at All 3 Deals
Listening to each other is the key. This creates beautiful connections between people. The Wonderful Tour showed how cooperation strengthens livability – and how great the impact of resident initiatives can be.
