Due to weather forecasts, the planned work for the navigation of the Nettelhorster Bridge has been postponed. Strong winds with gusts are expected in the coming days, making the navigation operation unsafe. The navigation was scheduled for Friday, June 6, and Saturday, June 7.
New date still unknown
A new date for the navigation of the bridge is not yet known. Together with the parties involved, we are looking for a new suitable moment. More clarity is expected on Tuesday, June 10.
No closures
The roads around the construction site and in Lochem will be open for traffic this coming weekend. The Twente Canal, which would have been closed by Rijkswaterstaat during the navigation days, is also open for navigation.
