Climate Mayors
Climate Mayors are engaged residents who dedicate themselves to improving the climate in their own neighborhoods and municipalities. They inspire others, organize sustainable activities, and demonstrate how to make a difference in your own environment. The Climate Mayors come from various municipalities in Gelderland and represent a wide range of sustainable initiatives and actions.
Appreciation for Their Efforts
During the event, the Climate Mayors were recognized and thanked for their efforts. After a short speech, Wigboldus installed the Climate Mayors, who promised to commit themselves to a sustainable future and to continue inspiring others. As a token of appreciation, the Climate Mayors received a brooch designed by Fraenck and made from recycled material. Afterwards, there was time to meet, share experiences, and gain inspiration for new sustainable initiatives.
