What are we looking for?
Do you have an idea, concept, plan or ongoing project that contributes to climate adaptation (adjusting the environment to the changing climate) or climate mitigation (measures to address the causes of climate change)? Then we warmly invite you to participate.
Examples of ideas include smart solutions for shared mobility, shared use of facilities or initiatives that help against heat, drought or water nuisance. Or other innovative initiatives that fit within the themes built environment, agriculture & land use, mobility or climate adaptation.
Win €3,000 and expand your network
All participants have a chance to win one of the 5 prizes of €3,000. After registration, an expert jury will assess all submissions. Per theme, 3 projects will be nominated. In total, 12 nominees will receive an invitation for Sustainable Friday. During this event, the winners of the 4 jury prizes (1 per theme) and the public prize chosen by visitors will be announced.
Why Sustainable Friday?
Gelderland is bursting with smart, green and creative ideas. With Sustainable Friday, inspired by the national Sustainable Tuesday, we give these initiatives a platform and help them grow further. Sustainable Friday is the place to network.
Participate?
You can register until 12 March 2026. Important conditions: • your initiative is innovative; • it contributes positively to climate mitigation within the themes built environment, agriculture & land use, mobility or climate adaptation; • you live in Gelderland or your initiative is based here.
