The city of Rhede has designated 2 additional areas for possible wind turbines. One of these areas is located south of Woold (Rhede-Vardingholt). This project is called ‘Külver Heide GbR’. An initiator wants to place 3 wind turbines in this area and has applied for the necessary construction and operation permits from Kreis Borken (a district in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia).
Which documents are available for inspection?
These concern the permit application for the construction and operation of 3 wind turbines. The environmental impact report is also available for inspection. Wind turbines across the border in Germany
On the German side of the border with Gelderland, there are several plans for the construction of wind turbines. We find it important that sufficient attention is paid to the interests of Gelderland. For example, those of the residents, nature, and landscape on the Gelderland side of the border. We are in talks with the German authorities about this. Sometimes we also provide feedback (views) on plans and decisions.
