Collaborations receive up to 90% of their costs reimbursed.

Making agriculture and horticulture more sustainable and future-proof

With the subsidy scheme, we want to help develop, further develop, or make practical (ready for use) new concepts, products, or services. In this way, we help farmers and horticulturists make agriculture and horticulture in Gelderland more sustainable and future-proof. For example, through technical or social innovations in the food system or in the non-food chain.

Budget

Approximately € 5 million is available for this subsidy. The amount of the subsidy per application is at least € 35,000 and a maximum of € 200,000. Applicants receive a maximum of 90% of the costs reimbursed. For investments in business assets, this is 40%. The scheme is part of the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

Collaborations

The subsidy is applied for by a combination of at least 2 farmers and 1 chain partner (an organization that is part of a broader collaboration or chain). Existing collaborations can also submit an application if they want to set up a new activity. The difference with the previous activity must be clear. In all cases, the collaboration must be about a new activity or innovation.

Information about this and other subsidies

On October 23, October 30, and November 4, 2025, we will organize information sessions about this and other CAP subsidies. Afterwards, you will know for which innovative collaboration projects you can apply for a subsidy. And how to do this. You can also ask your questions. More information about the information sessions will be announced later.

We will open the subsidy from November 3, 2025, to January 15, 2026. The publication (document) of the opening decision related to this subsidy can be found on the website of the implementation organization Stimulus.
