A new date for the operation will be announced.
Due to bad weather conditions, the entry will not take place
Initially, the entry was planned for June 6 and 7, 2025. The operation was postponed because there was too much wind on those days to carry this out safely. June 13 and 14, 2025, was the reserve date for the entry. The weather forecast for June 13 and 14 is also not good. Predicted thunderstorms and gusts of wind mean that they cannot safely carry out the operation on the reserve date.
Special equipment will be cleared again
Special equipment and professionals were hired for this entry operation. After this weekend, this equipment and these people will no longer be available as they will be deployed for other projects. Therefore, this equipment will be cleared in the coming days.
We are looking for a new moment
Together with the parties involved, we are looking for a new suitable moment to enter the bridge. For this, we need to rehire the equipment and the team of professionals. As soon as there is more clarity about a new date, we will announce it.
It is also not yet clear what impact the postponement of the entry will have on the planning of the entire Schakel A1-Achterhoek project and the opening of the Nettelhorsterbrug. As soon as there is more clarity about this, we will also inform you.
