In Veendam, the municipality works under the name ‘Turbo Moves’, together with local sports clubs on neighborhood activities for toddlers to address motor skill delays early and to encourage joyful movement.

In the Kop van het Hogeland, the project ‘Movement and Lifestyle’ by the Eemsmond swimming pools foundation ensures that different groups of people meet and stay active together.
Cooking Together
In Vinkhuizen, ‘Cooking Together For Each Other, By Each Other’ brings elderly people together to cook, eat, share stories, and reduce loneliness.
