The consequences of gas extraction are significant and the recovery is complex. Many residents are still waiting for clarity or a solution for their home or situation. With this Recovery Agenda ( PDF file, 5 MB), the involved organizations aim to collaborate better and make a noticeable difference step by step, starting with people who have been waiting (too) long for a suitable solution.

Nij Begun

This Recovery Agenda builds on Nij Begun, the cabinets response to the Parliamentary Inquiry on Gas Extraction. In it, the cabinet promised fair recovery, predictable implementation, and perspective for Groningen and North Drenthe. This Agenda puts that course into practice: by collaborating better, communicating more clearly, and responding faster when rules have unintended consequences.
