Due to the great success of the new fast application route for public projects, the Cultural Fund North Brabant is making an additional €50,000 available. Through this scheme, foundations and associations have been able to submit an accessible application for a maximum of €1,500 per public project since this year. In the past 4 months, 34 projects have received approval.
The scheme is intended for initiatives that make culture or nature accessible to a wide audience. Eligible initiatives include amateur performances, small-scale festivals with culture or nature as the main goal, educational projects, and publications about urban and regional history or nature (history), with a minimum print run of 200 copies. With this extra contribution, even more creators, volunteers, and local organizations can be helped to realize their ideas.
“We notice that there is a great need in Brabant for support for smaller initiatives that bring people together and enrich them,” says Jan Speelman of the Cultural Fund North Brabant. “With this extra boost, we give a boost to the rich cultural and social life in the province. It is precisely these small-scale projects that provide connection, creativity, and experiences close to home.”
