Thursday, February 12 from 11:00 to 12:00 is dedicated to the Knowledge Point Heat. This is the new digital counter through which the Province of North Brabant supports all Brabant municipalities in their coordinating role in the heat transition. During the webinar, we will show how the Knowledge Point Heat works, what expertise is available, and how municipalities can get started with it.

How can the Knowledge Point Heat help to accelerate locally? What does it yield for your work? And how do you optimally use the available knowledge? You will hear it during the webinar. There is also room to ask questions.

Low-threshold support

The heat transition is an indispensable step towards climate goals, but also a major challenge for municipalities. Think of technical choices, legal issues, participation, financing, and drafting heat programs. The Knowledge Point Heat offers low-threshold and efficient support. Municipalities can turn to it for, among other things:

  • Tailored advice on technology, governance, and process design
  • Substantive support with policy documents
  • Expertise in heat networks, business cases, and subsidies
  • Knowledge of current laws and regulations (Wcw, Wgiw, Environmental Act)
  • Insights into social aspects such as participation and cooperation with resident initiatives

During the session, experts will explain how the Knowledge Point works and share examples of questions and projects where municipalities can receive support.
