From the end of February 2026, makers and cultural organizations can again submit an application for a tailored coaching program aimed at strengthening their business skills. After the successful first edition in 2025, the province will also provide subsidies next year through the scheme Strengthening Cultural Entrepreneurship. In 2026, €200,000 is available for this purpose.
The program offers makers room for tailored development, for example to sharpen their artistic profile or work on a sustainable business model.
Experiences from the previous round
Last year, 47 cultural professionals received subsidies. Feedback shows that the program helps to sharpen their business practice. “In the program, I learned with my coach how to set up a marketing plan. Especially gaining clearer insight into my customers, partners, and subsidy opportunities has proven very valuable. Just the fact that I could brainstorm with someone outside my direct network has been of great value,” says Dick Janssen, participant in 2025.
With this program, cultural makers can strengthen their business side, allowing them to further develop their creative work.

Strengthening the sector
Bas Maes, Deputy for Culture: “Every cultural maker is also an entrepreneur. With this program, makers can strengthen their business side so they can further develop their creative work. Together, we build a strong sector that provides a diverse and lively cultural offer for all residents of Brabant.”
Practical implementation
In 2026, the province makes €200,000 available, with a maximum of €5,000 per application. Applications can be submitted from February 23, 2026, to March 1, 2026 via het loket (refers to another website) of the province. Kunstloc Brabant supports applicants with a concept application and prepares a risk and opportunity form for all applications.
