Measuring Station at Vlietsend
Since November 18, 2024, the province has been measuring air quality along the N203 in Krommenie. The measuring station is located at the intersection with Vlietsend. Measurements will continue until mid-January 2026. Sharing the interim measurement results is an agreement with TNO, as well as placing 2 additional measuring stations that will measure air quality slightly further from the N203 for 3 months. By comparing the data from those 2 measuring stations with that of the main measuring station, TNO obtains information about the influence of traffic on the N203 on air quality.
Final Results in 2026
TNO will measure air quality along the N203 until mid-January 2026. All measurement data from the measuring stations will then be analyzed by TNO. The final measurement results will be announced around April 2026.
