On Thursday, January 29, 2026, the campus afternoon for public-private partnerships (PPP) took place in North Holland, Utrecht, and Flevoland at the Construction and Technology Campus of ROC MBO College Westpoort in Amsterdam.
The event brought together professionals from education, government, and business to collaborate on labor market and education topics.
During the afternoon, various results and developments were shared. The House of Safety was presented, a new PPP for safety education with partners such as the Ministry of Defense. The first Hybrid Technology Center in North Holland was also discussed, where education and practice come together through learning in and with businesses.
Additionally, the initial results of the High Impact PPPs were discussed. These collaborations reach many students and deliver concrete outcomes. Approximately 75% of the involved companies are SMEs, highlighting the active role of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In interactive sessions, participants exchanged experiences on the themes of circular economy, digitalization, and energy. This led to new connections and strengthening of existing collaborations.
