The Province of North Holland wants to improve traffic safety on the N502 between Burgervlotbrug and Groote Keeten and the N503.
On these N-roads, people often drive faster than allowed, and the space between the roadway and the bike path is narrow. This creates unsafe situations. To investigate this properly, the province wants to gather input from residents along and users of both N-roads.
Therefore, the province calls on them to share their experiences and what they see as bottlenecks via a survey Opens an external link.
In addition to making the N502 and N503 safer, the province is investigating the possibility of setting a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour outside built-up areas along the entire N502.
Mark (in)secure points on the map
Participants in the survey can indicate on the map which locations they experience as (in)secure and why. They can also report other points of concern to the province this way. This gives the province a good picture of the points it needs to consider in the new design for both N-roads. Through the survey, participants can also leave their contact details so they can be kept informed about this project.
Do you want to share your experiences? Then fill out the survey Opens an external link. This can be done until October 6.
