The Province of North Holland closed one lane in both directions on the N201 between Uithoorn and Amstelveen on January 8, 2026. Between the N231 and N521, only one lane is available for traffic in both directions.
Due to winter weather, frost damage has occurred on the N201 asphalt. The damage affects both the carriageway towards Hoofddorp and the carriageway towards Uithoorn. Therefore, the province has closed one lane in both directions between the N231 and N521. Traffic can use the other lane to pass the works. A reduced speed limit applies in this road section.
Emergency repair with road closure on January 14
On Wednesday, January 14, an emergency repair will take place between 9:00 and 17:00. During this work, the N201 will be closed in both directions between the N231 and N521.
Road users should expect a detour and extra travel time.
