On Wednesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 6, maintenance will take place on the Sint Maartensvlotbrug.
During this period, we will replace, among other things, the haul and bring cables, a seal on a gear box, and the hydraulic hoses.
Sint Maartensvlotbrug Closed on November 5 and 6
The work will start on Wednesday, November 5 at 7:00 AM until Thursday, November 6 at 10:00 PM at the latest. During this period, the drawbridge will be closed to all traffic. There will be no hindrance for shipping, and a ferry will operate for (moped) cyclists and pedestrians.
Detour Route
Motorized traffic will be diverted via the Stolperbasculebrug during the work. See the image.
Temporary Ferry for (Moped) Cyclists
A ferry will operate for (moped) cyclists and pedestrians at the following times:
- Wednesday, November 5: 6:30 AM - 10:30 PM
- Thursday, November 6: 6:30 AM - 10:30 PM
Possible Evening Disruption
To keep the closure of the drawbridge as short as possible, work will continue until 10:00 PM. This means that there may be some (noise) disturbance outside normal working hours. The province finds this regrettable but hopes for your understanding.
