On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the province will carry out an emergency repair on the Krommenie B bridge. This bridge is located on the N203. Work starts at 9:00 AM and is expected to be completed around midnight.

A steel plate is loose, causing the bridge to rattle when traffic passes over it. We are urgently repairing this part to prevent further damage and unexpected closures. 

What does this mean for traffic?

  • Work starts at 9:00 AM, after rush hour, and lasts until about midnight.
  • The bridge will not be operated during the work.
  • One lane is closed on the southern carriageway. This is the lane from Krommenie towards Wormerveer.
  • The bicycle path will be narrowed.
  • Expect 10 to 30 minutes of delay, especially during the evening rush hour. Avoid travel or choose alternative routes if possible.
