Kings Commissioner Hans Oosters took the oath of office from Mayor Ap Reinders on Monday evening, 2 February, during an extraordinary council meeting. Reinders is starting his second term in Stichtse Vecht.
Mayor Reinders leaves politics to the politicians, but once decisions are made, he stands behind them. There is much appreciation for the way he maintains contact with the residents; he does his best to reach everyone, said Oosters.
Ap Reinders has been mayor of Stichtse Vecht since 6 February 2020.
