Residents of seventeen Utrecht municipalities can now visit Energiepunt.nl: a new, joint online portal with information and advice on saving energy and sustainability. With this initiative, the Energy Services Center (EDC) aims to help residents make their homes more energy-efficient step by step.

At Energiepunt.nl, residents find reliable information about measures such as insulation, solar panels, and heat pumps. The portal also provides insight into subsidies, loans, and local schemes. Additionally, residents can get independent advice via a helpdesk, both online and by phone.

With the slogan “your guide to energy-efficient living,” Energiepunt aims to help residents gain an overview of the many possibilities and schemes available.

Strong regional cooperation

Energiepunt was established by the EDC, a collaboration between the Province of Utrecht and the Utrecht municipalities. Three specialized partners support the portal for website management, answering questions, and data registration. With the launch of Energiepunt, the old regional portal Jouw Huis Slimmer has been discontinued.

Deputy for Energy Transition Huib van Essen: “We are on the way to a sustainable future. For this, it is necessary to save a lot of energy. Together with municipalities, the EDC seeks opportunities where everyone can participate. Energiepunt helps with this. This makes it very easy for everyone to make their own home more sustainable with big or small steps.”

Towards an energy-efficient future together

The province supports municipalities and residents in accelerating the energy transition. Energiepunt is a reliable and independent portal that encourages residents to take action.
