From Monday, June 30 to Thursday, July 18, the province of Utrecht will work on the Eembrug on Bisschopsweg (N414) in Eembrugge. During this period, the drawbridge will be connected to the new control center, so that the bridge can be operated remotely again next year.

The work is being carried out by contractor Spie on behalf of the province of Utrecht. The work will take place daily between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Traffic will be directed past the work by traffic controllers alternately. The delay will be about five minutes. There are no consequences for shipping.

Background information

Currently, the Eembrug, along with four other bridges of the province, is operated locally. Next year, the bridge will be operated remotely again from a new control center. These works are necessary to achieve this.
