The Province of Utrecht is working on a new design for the N201 intersection in Loenersloot. This aims to improve traffic flow and safety. On Tuesday, December 9, an open evening will be held to present the design and update on progress.
New Design
There is a new design for the N201 intersection near Loenersloot. We are improving the intersection to allow better traffic flow and increase safety. This means the current traffic light junction will be removed. In its place, a roundabout with one exit towards Loenersloot will be constructed. We are also building an underpass for traffic to Binnenweg, south of the N201.
Open Evening
The open evening will take place on Tuesday, December 9 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Montessori School (Hollandstraat 25, 3634 AS Loenersloot). During this evening, there will be an opportunity to view the new design and ask questions to the project team. You can drop in at any time; no registration is required.
Future of N201
The N201 is an important connection between Schiphol and the Gooi and Vecht region and has been a major bottleneck in the Province of Utrecht for years. With the project Future N201, the province is working step by step to improve traffic flow, safety, and livability. Loenersloot is a subproject of the Future N201 project.
