The Province of Utrecht is working on plans to improve traffic safety on Stationsweg Oost (N224) in Woudenberg. The focus is on making the crossings between Laan door Hoevelaar and the Valleikanaal safer. During an open evening on Wednesday, November 26, the province will provide an update on the progress.

In recent years, we have had many discussions with the community: the municipality, landowners, local entrepreneurs from Klein Landaas, and residents. Feedback was also collected during open moments in 2022.

Based on all received feedback, a new design has been created for Stationsweg Oost. In July 2024, the investment decision was made. This made the budget for this project available and preparations have started.

Information Evening

Would you like to know more about the design? The design will be on display during the open evening. It will also show how feedback from the community has been incorporated into the design. The project team will be present to answer questions at various tables.

The open evening will take place on Wednesday, November 26, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hotel Schimmel 1885 (Stationsweg Oost 243, 3931 EP Woudenberg). There is no fixed program, so you can drop in at any time. Registration is not required.
