Aftertalk with the States is a new podcast from the Provincial States of Utrecht. In each episode, residents from the province share what is happening in their area. How can State members assist with the topics discussed during our residents evening Talk with the States? And most importantly: what have the State members done with their messages?

In the first episode, resident Elly Verburg discusses the trial of catching feral cats. The province of Utrecht wanted to stop this trial, but thanks to Verburgs input during Talk with the States and a motion from the Provincial States, the catching of feral cats will continue.

Aftertalk with the States is released every month on Spotify external linkor another podcast platform of your choice. When you subscribe to the podcast, you will receive a notification for each new episode.

About the podcast

The Provincial States find it important to show what can happen when residents make their voices heard. With practical examples from the residents evening Talk with the States, they want to encourage residents to reach out to a State member, committee member, or political group.

On the website of Provincial States external link you can read about the possibilities for this. If you want to visit Talk with the States as a speaker, spectator, or for a meeting with the Provincial States, you can register here. external link
