On Friday, March 13, 2026, circular pioneers will compete during the Utrecht Circular Innovation Top (CIT) for the title of Utrecht winner 2026. Register for the event at Kanaal 30 and get inspired by circular entrepreneurs!
The CIT highlights circular and innovative entrepreneurs from the Utrecht region and supports them in developing their initiatives. Change Makers, start-ups, and chain collaborations present their innovative ideas in exciting pitches to an expert jury.

- MOYU Notebooks: notebooks with erasable stone paper made from stone waste and plastic.
- LOOS Utrecht: packaging-free shopping with a mobile store in the neighborhood.
- Buurman Utrecht: hub with materials, knowledge, and skills for circular DIY projects.
Category Circular Start-up
- Dragonwood Rail: sustainable, resource-free and reusable railway sleepers made from bamboo.
- Cleancycle / Droppie: local recycling points in shopping areas for active collection.
- Sealed Cycle: smart waste separation assistant, Waiste Assist, to help with the trash bin.
Category Circular Chain Collaboration
- CupXchange: system for transport, cleaning and distribution of reusable cups.
- PAKT Pooling System: collaboration for reusable bottles and crates in the hospitality industry.
- Jutplaats: reuse and separation of materials from the cultural sector and events.
