From Saturday, October 4 at 06:00 until Sunday, October 5 at 22:00, the Hoofdstraat (N225) in Driebergen, including side streets, will be closed. This concerns the section of the N225 between the exit of the A12 and the junction with the Engweg. Traffic will be redirected.
During this weekend, contractor Dura Vermeer, commissioned by the province of Utrecht, will replace asphalt at various locations, repair manhole covers in the road surface, and adjust the traffic lights at the A12 exit and Nijendal.
Accessibility and Detours
- Cyclists from Driebergen to Zeist and vice versa must detour via Bosstraat, Park Sparrendaal, Arnhemse Bovenweg, and Breullaan.
- Local traffic towards Zeist will be redirected via Horstlaan, Arnhemse Bovenweg, and Breullaan.
- Traffic from Utrecht to Driebergen will be redirected over the A12 towards the exit Maarn and the Amersfoortseweg towards Doorn. This also applies vice versa for traffic from Driebergen to Utrecht.
Construction of Bicycle Route
The work on the N225 in Driebergen is part of the construction of the bicycle route between Utrecht Science Park and Veenendaal.
