The Mayor of Koningsbruggenweg (N419) in Harmelen will be closed from Friday, September 19 at 20:00 until Sunday, September 21 at 08:00 due to road works. We are working on the road from the intersection with Leidsestraatweg (N198) to the carpool area at the A12.
The work is being carried out by BAM Infra Wegen on behalf of the Province of Utrecht. The asphalt will be replaced on this stretch and various street works will be carried out. Between the Groenendaal roundabout and the carpool area, various maintenance works will be performed, such as repairing the asphalt.
Closure and Detour
The N419 will be closed for the entire period from the intersection with Leidsestraatweg (N198) to the carpool area. The intersection with Leidsestraatweg is also closed. Traffic heading west from Harmelen will be diverted via Woerden over the A12 and N198.
The rest of Harmelen remains accessible via Adriaan van Beusechemweg and Utrechtsestraatweg (N198). In addition, the bike path between Hofbrug and the Groenendaal roundabout is closed to safely carry out the work.
Margin of Error
In all road works, unforeseen circumstances may occur that require the work to be postponed to a later time. For example, if it rains heavily for a long time. If the schedule unexpectedly changes, we will announce this via the Province of Utrechts website.
