Residents or entrepreneurs who have questions, comments, or concerns about provincial policy regarding space, housing, environment, tourism, and recreation can contact Deputy Dick van der Velde during a walk-in moment.
To be more approachable for initiators of spatial plans, Deputy Van der Velde organizes a walk-in moment every month in his office in the Abbey. Dick: “I did this as a trial in the first half of 2025 and I noticed that there is a lot of interest. That’s why I will continue the walk-in moments for the time being. People with questions or concerns about issues such as the environment, tourism, and space are very welcome to drop by. It’s good to mention: I primarily want to provide a listening ear, I do not want to create the illusion that I can immediately solve all problems.”
The walk-in moments take place on the following Wednesdays: September 24 (1 spot available), October 22, November 19, and December 10. You can drop by from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Prior registration is mandatory and can be done via the secretariat secgs4@zeeland.nl.
