The scheme aligns with the agricultural policy of South Holland, which stimulates various development paths to realize a future-proof and ecologically responsible agricultural sector.
Dairy farmers can apply for subsidies for:
- Business development plans – subsidy for the preparation of an integral and future-proof business plan.
- Techniques for ammonia reduction – subsidy for the purchase of techniques that reduce ammonia emissions in barns.
- Measurement systems for ammonia emissions – subsidy for measuring ammonia emissions in barns around the Nieuwkoopse Plassen and De Haeck.
With a budget of €3,625,000, both smaller and larger dairy farms can benefit from this scheme.
