From today, residents, associations, and foundations throughout Fryslân can turn to Stipe.frl, the new platform that offers support to anyone with an idea for their village, neighborhood, or district. Whether it concerns making a community center more sustainable, strengthening an association, organizing a cultural project, or recruiting volunteers: Stipe.frl bundles all information, tools, and support partners in one place.
Stipe.frl was developed by the support network for community initiatives, a collaboration between the Province of Fryslân, Keunstwurk, Sport Fryslân, Doarpswurk, and all Frisian municipalities. With the platform, the partners aim to make it easier for residents to realize their ideas for Frisian society.
“With Stipe.frl, people no longer have to be sent from pillar to post. Everything can be found through one counter, which simply makes it easier for residents,” says Deputy Sijbe Knol. “For us, municipalities, organizations, and the province, the goal was clear: fewer obstacles, more convenience for the residents of Fryslân. And that has been achieved.”
A Central Starting Point for Initiators
Until now, initiators often had to figure out for themselves where to go for help, advice, or subsidies. This took a lot of time and sometimes led to confusion. Stipe.frl changes that. The platform offers, among other things:
- a knowledge base with practical information about organization, financing, and implementation;
- an overview of subsidy schemes, from local to provincial;
- a project planning tool to create a plan step by step;
- a contact form that automatically connects users to the right person or organization.
With this combination of information, practical support, and direct referral to suitable partners, Stipe.frl forms a recognizable and accessible starting point for everyone eager to get started.
Strong Collaboration Behind the Scenes
Behind Stipe.frl is a broad network of organizations committed to livability, volunteer work, sports, culture, and village development. By combining their knowledge and support, they hope that more residents can realize their ideas.
