Stim of Fryslân (Stimfanfryslan.frl) is specially developed to give citizens more influence on the provinces policy and offers space for ideas, discussions, and participation, in this case regarding the future of the Frisian language and culture. To inform people about the opportunity to participate, the campaign is promoted through social media, advertisements, and posters. Ambassadors are also deployed, and physical meetings will take place.

The Provincial States tasked the State Committee Frisian at the end of 2023 to come up with an initiative proposal Long-term Goals for Frisian and to involve the community. Fryslân, like the national government, has a responsibility and duty of care for the Frisian language and culture. According to the Provincial States, this requires an active stance to promote and protect the language and culture.

The State Committee Frisian stated that one of the principles is equality; what applies to the Dutch language and culture also applies to Frisian. Chair of the State Committee Frisian Attje Meekma: “We aim to become a bilingual province, where both Frisian and Dutch can be used in all aspects of daily life.” The long-term goals are aimed at realization in 2051, 100 years after Kneppelfreed.
