Two days before the Dutch general elections on October 29, nine Frisian candidate members of parliament will debate the challenges in our region regarding water, climate, spatial planning, and the future of youth. What choices will politicians make concerning our province? Under the guidance of Omrop Fryslân presenter Eric Ennema, the Frisian candidates will engage in debate.

This election debate is part of the annual Frisian Administrators Day, renamed for the occasion as the Fryske Wettertop. During this closed meeting, speakers Mart de Kruif (former lieutenant general of the Royal Netherlands Army) and Co Verdaas (Delta Commissioner) will guide Frieslands administration through themes of resilience and safety around water management, now and in the future.
