Household consumption grows by nearly 1 percent in October
In October 2025, household consumption increased by nearly 1 percent compared to October 2024, mainly due to higher purchases of goods and services.
In October 2025, households purchased 0.8 percent more goods and services than in October 2024, reports CBS. They bought both more goods and services. The consumption figures are volume figures. This means they have been adjusted for price changes. Additionally, adjustments have been made for changes in the composition of shopping days. According to the CBS Consumption Radar, conditions for consumption in November were more favorable than in October.
