In August 2025, households purchased 1.1 percent more goods and services than in August 2024, reports CBS. They bought more goods as well as more services.

The consumption figures relate to volume figures. This means they have been adjusted for price changes. Additionally, adjustments have been made for changes in the composition of shopping days. According to the CBS Consumption Radar, the conditions for consumption in September were less unfavorable than in August.
