In January 2026, households purchased as many goods and services as in January 2025, reports CBS. In December, consumption grew by 0.8 per cent.
The consumption figures are volume figures. This means they are adjusted for price changes. In addition, adjustments have been made for changes in the composition of shopping days. The conditions for consumption were less unfavorable in February than in January.
