The retail sector achieved a 1.5 percent increase in revenue in December 2024 compared to December 2023, according to CBS. The sales volume was 0.3 percent higher. The revenue from the non-food sector (including non-store retail) grew by 4.6 percent, while the revenue from the food sector (stores selling food and beverages) shrank by 4.0 percent. Additionally, online sales increased by 12.5 percent compared to a year earlier.
