Retail sales in April increased by 4.2 percent compared to April 2024, according to CBS. The sales volume was 1.7 percent higher. The turnover of non-food (including non-store retail) grew by 5.2 percent and the turnover of the food sector (stores selling food and beverages) increased by 2.5 percent. Online sales increased by 2.4 percent compared to a year earlier.
