CBS also publishes monthly reports on the conditions for export in the export radar. The conditions are largely determined by developments in the main sales markets for Dutch exports and by the development of the Dutch competitive position. The indicators in the radar correlate well with exports, but an improvement in conditions does not necessarily mean higher export growth.
In the CBS Export Radar of November, the conditions for export were slightly less favorable than in the radar of September. This is mainly due to the year-on-year growth of German industrial production turning into a contraction and the development of real exchange rates being less favorable.
