Every month, CBS also publishes about the conditions for export in the export radar. The conditions are largely determined by developments in the main sales markets for Dutch exports and by the development of the Dutch competitive position. The indicators in the radar correlate well with exports, but an improvement in conditions does not necessarily mean higher export growth.
In the CBS Export Radar of December, the conditions for export were less unfavorable than in the radar of October. This is mainly because the year-on-year contraction of German industrial production was smaller.
