The CBS also publishes monthly about the conditions for export in the export radar. The conditions are largely determined by developments in the main export markets for Dutch exports and by the development of the Dutch competitive position. The indicators in the radar correlate well with exports, but an improvement in conditions does not necessarily mean higher export growth.
In the CBS Export Radar for September, the conditions for export were less unfavorable than in the radar from July. This is mainly due to the fact that producer confidence in the Eurozone was less negative and the year-on-year decline in German industrial production turned into growth.
