Inflation in September 3.3 Percent in Quick Estimate
This article discusses the inflation figures for September 2025 and their impact on consumer prices.
The inflation in September 2025 was 3.3 percent in the quick estimate, reports Statistics Netherlands (CBS). This estimate is based on still incomplete source data. In August, inflation was 2.8 percent. Inflation is measured every month as the development of the consumer price index (CPI) compared to the same month in the previous year. The CPI also provides insight into price development compared to the previous month. In the quick estimate, consumer prices decreased by 0.1 percent in September compared to August.
The regular CPI figures for September will be published on October 7.
