The IT service providers saw a turnover increase of 5.7% in the fourth quarter, the same as in the third quarter; in the second quarter, the turnover increased by 8.0%. Throughout 2024, the turnover grew by over 6%.

The turnover was higher in all branches within the business services sector compared to a year earlier. Cleaning companies recorded the largest turnover increase within the business services sector in the fourth quarter: 9.6%. On an annual basis, the turnover of this sector also increased significantly (10.3%). The sector benefited from growing demand for services and higher prices.

In the security and investigation services sector, the turnover increased by 9.0% in the fourth quarter. For the entire year 2024, this was 12.6%, making it the sector with the largest annual turnover increase within the business services sector.

In the legal services sector, including law firms, legal consultancy offices, notary offices, and bailiff offices, the turnover increased by almost 8% in the fourth quarter. For the entire year 2024, the turnover was 8.1% higher than in 2023. In the administrative services sector, such as accounting and administration, the turnover increased by 4.9% in the fourth quarter. On an annual basis, this was over 6%.

In the temporary employment sector, the turnover was 0.8% higher in the fourth quarter than a year earlier. For the entire year 2024, the turnover increased by over 2%. Both in the fourth quarter and for the entire year 2024, the temporary employment sector recorded the lowest turnover growth within the business services sector.
