Producers Industry Less Negative in February

The producers in the industry were less negative in February than in January. Confidence rose from -1.6 in January to -1.2 in February, according to CBS. This is due to manufacturers being less negative about the stocks of finished products.

Producer confidence in February was slightly above the average of the last 20 years of -1.3. The confidence reached its highest value in October 2021 (10.4). In April 2020, the lowest value (-31.5) was recorded.

Producer confidence improved in most sectors. Manufacturers in the petroleum and chemical industry were the most positive among the main sectors. The confidence of the transport industry improved the most.
