The Court of Appeal s-Hertogenbosch is organizing Toga & Tapas on Thursday, March 5, 2025. During this professional meeting, the court aims to inform and enthuse experienced legal professionals about the work of the judge in an accessible and informal way.
With Toga & Tapas, the Court of Appeal s-Hertogenbosch invites professionals from various legal sectors – such as the legal profession, academia, government organizations, tax advice and business – to gain more insight into the meaning, challenges and training path of the judge. The meeting takes place at the Palace of Justice s-Hertogenbosch from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Program
Kees Sterk, judge and special professor of European Jurisprudence, gives an insight into the importance and significance of the judge in current social developments. In addition, judges share their personal experiences about the work, the training path to become a judge and working at the Court of Appeal s-Hertogenbosch. The meeting ends with a reception with tapas, where participants can talk to judges and court staff.
