This procedure concerns climate change. Greenpeace has filed claims on behalf of the inhabitants of Bonaire against the State.
According to Greenpeace, the State takes too few (mitigation) measures to limit Dutch greenhouse gas emissions. Dutch climate policy is, according to Greenpeace, not in line with UN agreements to limit global warming to a maximum of 1.5 degrees. Greenpeace also claims the State does too little to protect the inhabitants of Bonaire against the effects of climate change.
The verdict will start on January 28 at 2:00 PM. The link to the stream is on the livestream page.
