Erik Corten will become the location director of PI Sittard starting January 5, 2026.
Since 2023, Erik has been deputy regional director of Customs Rotterdam Harbor at the Ministry of Finance. Before that, he was regional director South Netherlands and operations director at Probation Netherlands. Prior to probation, Erik worked at the municipality of Heusden as manager of the Development, Research and Projects Team and the Safety and Enforcement Office. Erik also previously worked at the Judicial Institutions Service as unit director and security director at PI Vught. He began his career at Defense, mostly as an officer with the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee.
