In the lead-up to the NATO summit on June 24 and 25, 2025, there will be restrictions in the airspace. These are outlined in the AIP-SUP. For safety during the summit, measures have been taken for the Dutch airspace through a ministerial regulation. It is advised to limit or postpone non-essential movements in the airspace as much as possible to create a clear air picture for the authorities.

Flight plan requirement for all VFR flights
From June 23, 15:00 to June 25, 23:59, outside the 50 nautical miles around The Hague, a flight plan must be submitted for each individual VFR flight within the Amsterdam FIR, which includes the planned route (item 15). These flight plans must be submitted at least 24 hours before the expected departure time (EOBT) to the Flight Service Center of LVNL via www.homebriefing.nl.
For flights from A to A (local flights within the CTR or the circuit), such as parachute flights, local circuit training flights, or tow-glider flights, one VFR flight plan may be submitted per day for multiple similar flights. For flights from A to B, a separate flight plan is required for each individual flight.
