There are some changes in the IG team of the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT). The IG team consists of the inspector-general and 4 directors.
As of July 16, 2025, Karin Visser will say goodbye to the ILT and will stop working earlier. Since 2019, she has held the position of Director of Supervision and Enforcement and was also the Deputy Inspector-General of the ILT. Additionally, she has held the role of Director ILT Aviation Authority since spring 2024.

Replacement
The position of Director of Supervision and Enforcement (TenO) will be temporarily taken over by Linda van Houwelingen starting July 16. She is currently the head of Departmental Advice and International Cooperation in Transport at the ILT. She will act as the acting Director of Supervision and Enforcement until a new director is appointed. The Intelligence and Enforcement Service (IOD) of the ILT will temporarily be removed from the TenO portfolio and will fall directly under the Inspector-General during the acting period. Arnold Posthuma, head of IOD, will join this period in the IG team meeting. Stefanie Spekreijse, Director of Environment, Services, and Permits at the ILT, will take over the position of Director ILT Aviation Authority permanently starting July 16. The role of Deputy Inspector-General will not be temporarily filled but will be managed by the sitting directors depending on the subject.
The IG team further consists of Inspector-General Mattheus Wassenaar, Director of Public Institutions and Control/Housing Corporations Authority Ton Hugens, and Director of Information and Programming, also Chief Information Officer, Tanaquil Arduin.
